Beach
08.15.04 (10:47 am) [edit]So yesterday around 2 oclock me and my friends tried to hit the beach, just in time for a huge storm hit the coast....
I was there about 5 minutes before i started to hear thunder, and tornado and water spout warnings started to come up.
Luckily i packed up and drove home before anything actually hit. My friends, however, werent so intelligent in there decision to stick at the beach. None of em got hurt, but it took them 15 minutes to get back to shore from like 30 yards out in the water... strong winds/currents. They were lucky as fasr as im conserned.... not to mention the lightning
Well, at least today is looking clearer. I've got a few things to do around the house but im gonna try and hit the beach again....

Hurricane Charley
08.13.04 (7:03 pm) [edit]Well.. its been a while, but i'm way bored again, so im back on Tblog!
so today there was supposed to be this huge hurricane called Charley and it was supposed to pass basically rite over my house. They canceled school and everything. BUT the thing decided to change course and ended up wasting me 2 days of work preping the outside of the house, etc. it was a real dissappointment..... but at least there will be no damage to ne thing here... i feel bad for everyone south of us tho....
i mite be back later if i can think of ne thing else to post about....
